Michael Phelps

Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself.  My name is Michael Phelps . . . NO, sorry to disappoint you,.  I am NOT the young, good-looking, talented Olympic Champion with all that Gold and beautiful women chasing him around the globe.  I am the (NOT so) young, (NOT so) good-looking, (NOT an) Olympic Champion, (Already spent and gave away) my Gold, (HAPPILY) divorced, no beautiful women chasing me anywhere.

I am an Author.  I Co-Authored "DAVID JANSSEN-MY FUGITIVE" with David's first wife, Ellie Janssen (Hardcover, 1994 with Paperback Editions published in 1995.1996 and 1997).

Based on the success of this book, I retired early as Cheif Investigator for a prominent Miami (FL) law firm specializing in criminal defense, and chose to embark on the challenging career of being a Writer.  I promised I would never co-author a book again, especially with an ex-wife of a celebrity.  I chose to write about something I know well; police procedurals, detective and court room novels based on actual cases . . . murder and mayhem.  I created the "Mike Walsh Detective Novels" series with my debut novel; THE EXECUTION OF JUSTICE.  This novel is based on the true story of the brutal murder of a close friend and one time mentor of mine, Detective Sergeant Jack R. Ohrberg, Robbery & Homicide unit of the Indianapoilis Police Department.  Second in the "Mike Walsh Detective Novels" series is THE JOCKEY'S JUSTICE, which is based on a case I worked for the law firm.

My latest release is a Memoir I was urged and inspired to write.

DAVID JANSSEN~Our Conversations, Volume One, The Early Years (1965-1972) and Volume Two, The Final Years (1973-1980) is based on conversations between the iconic Television and film actor, DAVID JANSSEN and me over the last fifteen years of his life.

Best known for his starring role as "Dr. Richard Kimble" in the classic hit "THE FUGITIVE" (A Q-M Production, ABC TV - 1963-1967).  DAVID JANSSEN also starred in "Richard Diamond-Private Detective (1957-1960), "O'Hara-U. S,. Treasury" (1971) and "HARRY O" (1974-1976).  In addition, he appeared, starred or co-starred in over twenty Made-for-Television Movies and forty feature films.  David died of a massive heart attack on 13 February 1980.

I am a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, Military Police Combat Defense Forces (Viet Nam).  I am happily divorced (I did not deserve my wife).  I split my time between Miami Shores, Florida and New York City.

I invite you to visit my web site; www.MichawelPhelpsNovels.com for details and ordering of my books.  Thank you for your time and interest.

PAMELA EDWARDS, a 2014 Graduate (Cum Laude) of Texas State University has produced a touching tribute to DAVID JANSSEN in this beautiful video.  With the magnificent recording by FRANK SINATRA singing "MY WAY"; because we all know DAVID JANSSEN lived his short life "HIS WAY", a montage of expressive photos…
